Hilltop proudly offers a discounted membership to the men and women who protect and serve our communities.

As a small way of saying thank you for what you do every day — often without recognition — eligible Police Officers, Firefighters, and EMTs can join Hilltop Energy Buyer’s Group for $30 per year (regularly $65).

It’s a modest gesture for the work you do to keep our families safe and our communities strong.

This discounted membership is available to:

• Active-duty Police Officers

• Career and Volunteer Firefighters

• Active EMTs and Paramedics

• Retired first responders (with valid service credentials)

Hilltop negotiates directly with multiple regional fuel providers (AmeriGas, Irving Energy, Superior Plus and HOP Energy) to secure aggressive group pricing for our members. Our provider network spans New England and Eastern New York, with service areas that include: VT • NH • ME • MA • CT • RI •  NY. What Does Our Pricing Look Like?
For the 2025–2026 heating season, Hilltop members locked in the following fixed propane rates:

• $2.04 per gallon — 1,000+ gallons annually

• $2.14 per gallon — 500–999 gallons annually

• $2.44 per gallon — 200–499 gallons annually

These rates reflect negotiated pricing through participating providers, including AmeriGas and Superior Plus.
