Why April? We start renewals early so we can get an accurate gallon count before pricing negotiations begin next month. Knowing how much propane our members will need gives us stronger leverage with suppliers and helps ensure we reserve enough gallons at the best possible rate.
This timing also gives us a chance to follow up with anyone whose payment info has expired—critical for avoiding gaps in coverage. Just as important, it allows us to capture projected usage from unpaid memberships as well—so even if your renewal hasn’t processed yet, your expected gallons can still be factored into negotiations.
