To make enrollment easy, it’s helpful (but not required) to have the following on hand:
1. Your payment method for the $50 membership fee
2. Your fuel provider account number.
3. An estimate of your propane usage from last season.
4. Check your zip code in the tool below to confirm your service area.
5. Be sure to check your junk or spam folder if your confirmation email doesn’t appear in your inbox after enrolling.
6. Contact HOP Energy, provide your 4 digit PIN # (emailed to you after joining) from Hilltop and enter into your fuel agreement.

Here's an explanation of some commonly used terms: “Rack Price” is the wholesale daily price that HOP Energy is paying to purchase heating oil at the regional terminal. “Daily Retail Price” is the daily Rack Price + HOP Energy’s operational costs to deliver the oil and service our customers. This daily retail price, also referred to as your “Delivery Price” is the actual price you will pay on the day the oil is delivered, based on your chosen pricing plan.

We currently have four Heating Oil price plan options to offer: Variable, Capped, Fixed, Pre-Buy. All HOP pricing offers require automatic delivery and are subject to change daily based on market conditions and availability.
Membership is non-transferable. For multiple residences, each must be enrolled separately, and pricing is based on individual usage per residence. Prices are subject to any applicable taxes or fees. All contracts are subject to HOP’s terms and conditions.
Annual equipment maintenance is recommended and can prolong the life of your heating system.
Our premium level agreements also include parts, labor and 24- Hour Emergency service calls, so you can avoid large repair bills and unnecessary stress due to heating system issues. Hilltop members will receive $100 off any of our Equipment Maintenance Agreement options. We have several different options, depending on the heating type and level of coverage you would like. All of these add on agreements include one annual preventative maintenance visit also known as a “tune up.”None of our service agreements will cover any pre- existing issues for initial repairs. Optional Service agreements can be seen below:
• Premium Boiler Agreement- Includes annual maintenance/tune up, 24 Hour Emergency Service and most parts and labor coverage.
• Premium Warm Air Agreement (for Furnace) Includes annual maintenance/tune up, 24 Hour Emergency Service and most parts and labor coverage.
• Basic Burner Only Agreement- Includes annual maintenance/tune up and parts and labor coverage is limited to burner only.
• Basic Maintenance Agreement- Includes annual maintenance/tune up. No parts and labor coverage.
